Effective from 1.1.2026 was amended Decree No 300/2024 Coll., on personnel safety and on security capability, which has brought about several changes in the field of personnel safety, in particular:

1. An application for a certificate shall no longer be accompanied by a birth certificate.

2. In the questionnaire, the name of the item Employer was specified for more precise orientation, when the name of the item was filled with information that it is also an employer with whom the applicant for the issue of a certificate has concluded an agreement to perform work or an agreement to work.

3. Furthermore, the applicant for a certificate is obliged to state in the questionnaire whether or not he has filed a tax return in the last 10 years.

4. Under the heading Financial liabilities, this heading has also been extended to include financial obligations arising from a contract concluded with a legal person that is not a consumer credit provider under the Consumer Credit Act, i.e. the applicant for a certificate is required to indicate financial obligations concluded not only between natural persons, but also if he or she has entered into an obligation, for example, with his or her employer or with a municipality.
