II. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

Recruitment of new employees – the processing is necessary for taking steps prior to entering into an employment contract.

III. Scope of personal data processed

Personal data are processed to the extent provided by the applicant (data subject) to the controller in connection with their interest in a position within the National Security Authority.

The controller processes in particular the following personal data:

  • name and surname,
  • academic title,
  • education,
  • e-mail address,
  • telephone number.

The data provided are not disclosed to third parties.

IV. Method of Processing and Protection of Personal Data

Personal data are processed by the controller at its registered office by authorised employees.

The controller has implemented technical and organisational measures to ensure that access to personal data, whether in paper or electronic form, is restricted solely to authorised employees.

V. Rights of Data Subjects

Under the conditions laid down by the General Data Protection Regulation and the relevant national legislation, the data subject is entitled to:

  • request information and access to personal data,
  • request rectification of inaccurate personal data,
  • request erasure of personal data (“right to be forgotten”),
  • request restriction of processing,
  • request data portability,
  • object to processing,
  • not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling.

VI. Retention Period

Personal data of unsuccessful applicants are retained for the duration of the recruitment process. After this period, documents containing personal data are destroyed.
