Special professional competence is required for a cryptographic protection officer in accordance with § 39 law No. 412/2005 Coll. The cryptographic protection officer shall comply with the requirements set out in § 38 Section 2 of the Act No. 412/2005 Coll.

Note: The cryptographic protection officer must, inter alia, hold a valid individual certificate (i.e. at least Confidential).

Special professional competence shall be attested by an examination which shall be taken before the Office or a State authority authorised by it. The requirements of the application for a professional examination are regulated by Section 3 of the Decree 432/2011 Coll. On the basis of a successfully passed examination, the Office or an authority authorised by it shall issue a Certificate of Special Professional Competence, the particulars of which are defined in Section 5 of the Decree. 432/2011 Coll.

Note:
The application for the professional examination is submitted in writing by the person responsible to the authority of the state or the entrepreneur if the examination is conducted by another authority of the state or the Office.
